Plagiarism Policy

The Indonesian Occupational Therapy Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing practices. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are screened using Turnitin plagiarism detection software to identify potential instances of plagiarism, duplication, or inappropriate text overlap.

Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 25% may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the nature and extent of the overlap identified during the screening process. Editorial decisions will take into consideration whether the similarity results from properly cited sources, standard methodological descriptions, or constitutes potential academic misconduct.

The journal values originality and expects authors to submit scholarly work that is authentic, ethical, and free from plagiarism. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted manuscripts appropriately acknowledge and cite the work of others and comply with accepted standards of academic integrity.
