About the Journal

Indonesian Occupational Therapy Journal is a journal published by the Indonesian Occupational Therapists Association (Perkumpulan Terapis Okupasional Indonesia). The journal aims to serve as a scientific communication platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, and students engaged in the advancement of occupational therapy knowledge and practice in Indonesia and internationally.

The focus and scope of the journal encompass the publication of original research articles, literature reviews, case studies, and practice reports in the fields of occupational therapy and occupational science. The journal encourages contributions that enrich both theoretical knowledge and professional practice across various occupational therapy service contexts, including healthcare, education, community settings, and workplace environments.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process, whereby the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure objectivity and maintain the scientific rigor and quality of the evaluation process. Indonesian Occupational Therapy Journal is published biannually, with issues released in June and December each year.
